Taoyuan agriculture exhibition
I went to this exhibition this week. I was from Taipei. It took about 90 mins by car.
After parking in a environment tech park, It still needs to take a shutttle bus to the exhibition. I feel conformable in this district. It’s spacious rural town. Urban life is too crowded.
This exhibition demonstrates a new life style. which is green, environmental, recycle and healthy. It’s different from the business seeking efficiency. It is the quality of life. It is a demo, arranged by the government. Life in TaoYuan is different from Urban. It combines with indusrial and argriculture life.
There are some pros and cons living in rural area. I like a spacious environment where people can live, keeping with a distance. I like distance with people. It’s quiet so that I can keep calm to read and do some creative activities, like writing or practicing music. The disadvantage is that life can not as convenient as living in city. My concern is the people in neighborhood. Some rural people are nice, but some are not.
On the bus, I heard some people chatted about the job market. It may be a pontential problem on job opportunity in this town. No job, Not enough good jobs, but what‘s “good job” ?
What type of industry located here will decide what the job type here.
There are some manufacturing industrial parks near here. Therefore, Manufacuring industry decides the life style. There are many manufacurers, related with chemical, electronics, metal press, plastic molding, machinery around TaoYuan. It’s an industrial city, but at the same time, government also promotes the argricultuer industry to develop the argi-businees to balance with the manufacuring industry.
From exhibition, I think they prepare this scheme for few years. Transformaiton takes time and money. It needs many people involved in it.
The only disavanatage is the drama of event is a little bit noisy. Story of drama is to encourage argriculture and explain some worries in mind for people decides to come back home town doing famring. However, the broadcasting sound is too loud without art sense.
I hope this area can keep open to public after exhibition. It’s worth to come again. I am happy seeing that people living in TaoYuan also enjoy a good green life. There is no big gap between urban and rural in Taiwan, and I feel it gets closer and closer. Urban people also like going to rural during holidays. Although there are some pros and cons between both, if we can balance, life can be enjoyable.
